I think the key to web design is really ease of navigation. If possible you should have a navigation bar at the top of the content, perhaps a smaller version (with the most important pages) on the side as well as contextual links to relevant pages.

I have been blogging since 2007. For years I made a few bucks here and there with Adsense and some affiliate sells, but I wasn't making enough to quit the day job for sure. I think that as time goes on, methods of on-page and off-page search engine optimization will change as we know it. I think we will see a transformation to client metrics in deciding ranking results. That included with increased personal SERP results and we’ll be seeing a large transformation of the users experience with Google and the other SEs. Each search result will not be made alike, take a look at things like user interaction, bounce time, bounce rate, etc… Put your energy on a better site all around, and I think you’ll see better results in 2010.
